The 2026 El Salvador Home jersey is inspired by the legendary Jorge "El Magico" Gonzalez.
The forward from San Salvador represented La Selecta for over twenty years. His zig zagging, unpredictable dribbling style earned him the nickname "The Culebrita Macheteada" (Macheted Little Snake). The term became a part of Salvadoran football culture.
